2. Planning and Preparation

If you’re a candidate for LASIK, we’ll schedule your surgery and walk you through all the details.

You’ll receive pre-operative instructions, which may include:

• How to prepare for the procedure 
• What to expect on the day of the procedure, including the expected timeline and recommendations for care (e.g., arranging a ride home, post-operative care, etc.)

3. Day of Surgery

• Step 2: A thin flap is created in the outer layer of the cornea.

4. Immediately After Surgery

You’ll rest in our recovery area before heading home with a detailed care kit and instructions. You may feel mild irritation or watering for a few hours. Rest is recommended, and most patients already notice clearer vision within 24 hours — if not almost immediately. 

5. Follow-Up Care
